A home should be the best place on Earth for one self!

They buy fewer toys and clothes, parents answer the primary needs of their family. Too bad I heard it didn’t spare my relatives in Ohio, I called my Uncle once and I asked about the status of their family. They cut already their budget but no problem with their home. He thanked God he made the best decision of his life to prioritize his property .

Real Property Management is paying close attention to your payments. They should look for firms with assistance in terms of renting their places quickly by having their collecting mediators got their payment, less hassle for them as busy couple who usually got no time to drop by for their rentals.

With the unstable economy nowadays we should be all smart and intelligent enough to choose people and organization to trust to. I am glad my Uncle is getting smarter by getting a firm that provided them placement service with affordable fees and no leasing fees. Their credit and multi-state criminal background screening check ensured them social safety and financial security. With the association designed for real estate professionals who support the professional and ethical practices of rental home management my Uncle will never be homeless. That is a perfect assurance for all of us.

Sweeter than the Chocolates

Remember, the greatest gift is not found in a store nor under a tree, but in the hearts of true friends. -- Cindy Lew

Two chocolates and a letter from New Zealand. I was dumb founded with the gifts I received from my god daughters Chuchay and Juday. I could not held my tears when I read Chuchay’s letter telling me that I will be missed this Christmas and Juday scripted her greetings in the golden foil package of her chocolates. They were sweeter than the chocolates. Ah I really missed them more than ever. What is Christmas without them.

Suddenly another big plastic bag came, with so many gifts inside. It was from Mumay, my beloved Mumay…So sweet of her to write my name in big bold letters outside the package. I immediately opened it, so many gifts wrapped in packaging tape, I dug to see all the gifts…but all where for her friends, jackets, rubber shoes letters and chocolates… the only thing for me was her letter asking to please distribute all her gifts to her friends.” I could not control my laughter. Mumay is really differently special.

Before I used to test Mumay by telling my abhor with her poor dirty friends… and she would tell me “ Ninang you are so rude, they are people too, with feelings and emotions and I would answer with “Yuck!”. I love Mumay for being friendly regardless of social status.

Those children where so called followers of Mumay’s Cult. They were all fond of Mumay and followed her every word. She even invited them to their Church though the children had different religion. At first we suspected Mumay as user; she might just love her friends because she was their master. They went wherever she went. She just used their innocence for her advantage.

But I was wrong, we were all wrong.

Mumay pleads to me just to talk and see them in the net…and she always asked them not to forget her…now that Mumay sent them gifts bought with her own savings.(She received monetary award from her mother for her Academic Distinction Award in her School in New Zealand.) I realized that Mumay is a true friend that cares, she honestly missed them and she really wanted to make them more than happy. She did not fail to remember that the parents of her friends could not provide the things she sent them.

The children wrote thank you letters to Mumay and they were so joyful. Their gladness radiates to their letters. They all lovingly wrapped again the gifts they received for their up coming Christmas Party.

Amazingly the used to be bossy and selfish Mumay…made another promised to her friends… “I will be back home soon and I have more wonderful gifts for you!”

One thing I swapped her rubber shoes gifts just to fit her friends …Mumay somehow forgot that she was not the only one that grew up…Mumay next time you inquire their exact sizes, okay?

One more thing… I am so proud of you Mumay… Thank you for sharing your blessings…all of you will always be remembered!

FAT or FIT?

In a race of blue you are pink, in the race of tall you are short and in the world of thin you are FAT. I am beginning to feel miserable about it…The least I need to do is something not only to fit…but to be FIT, be pro active to my health for better life.
For almost two months I woke up 4:00 in the morning and did my jogging routine. The cold breeze of morning was awesome. It was nice to see the morning sunshine…and notice the break of dawn. I felt stronger after hours of running. But when it was time to go home, I maybe over did my exercise. I could hardly lift my feet and needed to be fetched by my husband in the park where I ran and worst of it I was so hungry that I usually eat more than my capacity…the next thing you will find me sleeping until noon. I must be really kidding with what I did. I didn’t want to be like that, But I couldn’t help it and I was truly disappointed with myself and my self control.
I realized that the mounting depression with my self discipline was adding more at the components of my uncontrolled eating. The weighing scale declared more weight gain and it add up to my insecurities.
My Doctor asked me if I wanted to go for surgery abroad. She suggested for me to undergo lap band surgery. It was famous in USA and the cost of lap band surgery price averages from $14,000-$25,000. In Mexico and other countries abroad the price starts at $5,000 and goes up to $7,000 all inclusive. The price of lap band surgery is minimal compared to long list of its advantages.
My Doctor explained what it involves to know if weight loss surgery is right for me. Doctor for your information I did all the tiring exercises and end up as flabby as I am. She informed me about the surgical procedure and the effects of the weight loss surgery. Determined to lose weight and improve your health? I am 100% to that. She asked me if I was aware of how your life may change after the operation (adjustment to the side effects of the operation, including the need to chew food well and inability to eat large meals). I needed that…Finally the answer to my problem of over eating. As a matter of fact a friend of mine went through that procedure already and her insights and her new appearance convinced me more to go for lap band surgery. I don’t need to kill my self with no result long exercise routine anymore I just need some help from reputable surgeons in abroad. I will surely grab the opportunity, do it for myself and run my way to the road of wellness.

What is Lap Band Surgery?
The LAP BAND System is an adjustable gastric band designed to help you lose excess body weight, improve weight-related health conditions and enhance quality of life. It reduces the stomach capacity and restricts the amount of food that can be consumed at one time. The LAP-BAND® System procedure does not require stomach cutting and stapling or gastrointestinal re-routing to bypass normal digestion. The LAP BAND System is the only adjustable and reversible weight-loss surgery available in the United States and the only weight-loss surgery approved for use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The name "LAP-BAND" comes from the surgical technique used, laparoscopic, and the name of the implanted medical device, gastric band. The LAP BAND System is a silicone ring designed to be placed around the upper part of the stomach and filled with saline on its inner surface. This creates a new, smaller stomach pouch that can hold only a small amount of food, so the food storage area in the stomach is reduced. The band also controls the stoma (stomach outlet) between the new upper pouch and the lower part of the stomach. When the stomach is smaller, you feel full faster, while the food moves more slowly between your upper and lower stomach as it is digested. As a result, you eat less and lose weight

I will run away FROM you!

The Corrs: Runaway
Say it's true, there's nothing like me and youI'm not alone, tell me you feel it tooAnd I would run awayI would run away, yeah, yeahI would run awayI would run away with you'Cause I am falling in love with youNo never, I'm never gonna stopFalling in love with youClose the door, lay down upon the floorAnd by candlelight, make love to me through the night(through the night)'Cause I have run awayI have run away, yeah, yeahI have run away, run awayI have run away with you'Cause I am falling in love (falling in love) with youNo never, I'm never gonna stopFalling in love with you With youAnd I would runawayI would runaway, yeah, yeahI would runaway (runaway)I would runaway with you'Cause I am falling in love (falling in love) with youNo never, I'm never gonna stopFalling in love with youFalling in love (falling in love) with youNo never, I'm never gonna stop falling in love with youWith you, my love, with you(With you, with you, with you, with you)

This song has been the wedding march of many. Even by the Philippine famous movie star Judy Ann and Hubby Ryan. I hunted this song in video oke bars and been my favorite for so long. I could imagine the wedding scene and sweet moments while singing…Until one time my hubby and I got a feud and I alternate some of the lyrics myself…maybe some would agree with what I have done. I know some would sing the song with these lyrics…just for entertainment or to lessen the anger for your partner as you discover the real him…not the someone you really wished to run with for the rest of your life.
Divorce candidates…will sing the song with these lyrics ....
Run away FROM You
Say it's true, there's nothing like me and youI need to be alone, don’t tell me you feel it tooAnd I would run awayI would run away, yeah, yeahI would run awayI would run away from you'Cause I am failing in love with youNo never, I'm never gonna Fall in love again with youClose the door, lay down under the floorAnd by candlelight, do not breath all through the night(through the night)'Cause I have run awayI have run away, yeah, yeahI have run away, run awayI have run away from you'Cause I am fallen out of love (fallen out of love) with youNo never, I'm never gonna Fall in love again with you With youAnd I would runawayI would runaway, yeah, yeahI would runaway (runaway)I would runaway from you'Cause I am fallen out of love (fallen out of love) with youNo never, I'm never gonna Fall in love again with youFailing in love (failing in love) with youNo never, I'm never gonna fall in love again with youWith you, no more love, with you(With you, with you, with you, with you

OOOOpps don't get me wrong...not thinking to be single again...
I believe that it has to be give and take in each partnership. One can't do all the giving and one does all the taking. You are a couple! There is no I in couple. The I become couple instead. I wanted you where were you? I needed to see where you were in times I needed you. If it gets to demanding and self focused ,a leaf falls off the tree.

Love should be like a bamboo that bends in the storm. It can be bent and still be whole. If the branches start to break off then love is beginning to become lost and has a possibility of being shattered. Love has to be worked on all the time. It needs to be fed on a regular basis. If it is not fed, it is as something live, it dies.
Love, if it true love will die slowly over a period of time. If true love hasn't had time to develop, it won't take as long for the love to disappear. Don’t let leaves to fall down, branches to break off….do not run away from him…give more time to each other... it maybe a big mistake to choose your partner…and it becomes evident as time goes by…the person you want to run with slowly becoming the person you wanted to run away from as distant as probable…The best depreciate you have ever done in your life… can appreciate… just need to bend a little…

Road to Wellness

As actually written and shared by my cousin Che....
Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, almost perfect weather conditioned, I am in red shirt, nervous, sad and I saw my friend but no connection with what I’m trying to share. Nyahaha! In short, I underwent CT scan last Tuesday. I had unknowingly developed abnormality in my internal organ. When I went to my doctor, he ordered a CT scan to determine what was wrong inside my beautiful body (kidding) just body. I arrived at the Calamba Medical Center around 9 in the morning and was given a big jar for the diluted barium based mixture, 3 needles 2 small and 1 big in size that made me shocked. I had blood taken in the beginning (creatine test) and after that I had to drink 1 liter of barium sulfate in one hour & another 1 liter for 30 minutes prior to the test.

Although EZ CAT smell’s slight orange, looks like milk and some say it comes in different flavors I am here to tell you that it’s awful. There is no good way to drink this liquid, which can best described as chalk-like in nature. Some say, hold my nose and gulp it down, but that didn’t work for me. The nurse instructions say to drink it slow; that’s what I did. The worst part was after drinking the first 1 liter I need to drink another 1 liter of barium sulfate. However, I managed to do it despite the horrible taste. (I’m proud. Clap your hands!) I can’t count how many times I went to rest room just for flushed I did it every 5-8 mins. At 11:20am I’m ready for scanning and dressed in medical gown. The first scan last for 15minutes there was no pain. The second time I was totally nervous, the technologist injected a contrast media in my vein (iodine-dye). During that time I experienced a warm sensation throughout my body especially on my lower abdomen and a metallic or salty taste in my mouth I also wanted to flushed but the technologist told me it was normal, just relax, be patient. Be patient was the hardest for me. Atlas! CT scan was over at 12nn. It’s so stressful for me. On my way home from hospital I experienced stomach cramping, sleepy, nauseous and stressed. Up to this day I still feel some pains in my vein where the contrast media was injected.

I hope you guys are doing well and will never ever experience what I had. It’s hard. Promise, I swear! … especially the extra challenge of drinking 2 liters of barium sulfate and a curse of going back and fort to comfort rooms to flash. So, take good care of your body guys and always remember “HEALTH is WEALTH” but as for me? “I wish tomorrow is Yesterday” because I believe in the saying regrets is always in the late end and when you are late you will pay extra charges! Oh Gosh! Exit time
.

I was the first to know that Che had a problem in her private part maybe ten years ago. She asked me to swear not to tell it to any body… though I was so afraid not knowing her real scenario I kept my promise to keep it to myself. Now that she’s open about it I am happy that she is getting the proper medication. I am so proud with her courage to heal and ready to face whatever it may take. Knowing her inability to drink even a single pill back in college…the grown up Che continues to make me clap my hands…Keep it up sis! I will always pray for you…Thank you for sharing.

Instant Birthday Bash for Yael!

A cake personally chosen by the Birthday Boy Yael
Yael and My Husband Noriel

Yael could not remove his eyes from his new talking, dancing and walking robot

Could not hide his excitement with his Birthday Bash

With his New friend Samantha

Make a wish Yael

Yael's Family Picture

My husband would like to surprise his nephew Yael with a Birthday Cake in his 3rd Birthday. It is all started with a Birthday Cake… and then balloons, ice cream, spaghetti, and more… I was the one surprised with the instant complete birthday bash.
Yael and his family lives in Bicol Region, a 12 hour drive from our place, my in laws just came for visit and to attend my sister in laws wedding this November 18, 2009. It was my brilliant idea for Yael to celebrate with us. Noriel my husband invited almost all of his friends and our relatives in his Nephews Birthday, a planned simple celebration became an instant luscious party. I secretly smiled as visitors came to our house, all related to us and not to the Birthday Celebrant.
Yael and Noriel were equally thrilled. Yael woke up with a question “Is it today? Is it my Birthday already?” I jokingly sang Happy Birthday song and always paused at the end.Yael would continue singing “Happy Birthday Yael”! It is so nice to make the little child happy. Our Nephew Yael really jumped in happiness when he saw the balloons, and tried to blow some himself…end up with saliva balloon.lol…he chose his own birthday cake. But he was most happy with his gifts…a toy bus most especially…he shouted BUT! BUT! for bus, and shouted “Antonina! Aint Jude”… the name of real buses that passes through in his house in Bicol… I learned that his playmate in Bicol refused to lend him his toy Bus…he hugged the BUT I mean BUS almost the whole day. Yael finished the day with a question “Is it finished, my Birthday?”No more cake?”
I was touched with my Uncle Ruben who came with his child’s r jhon old bike as a gift. My own relative came and celebrated with us though they didn’t personally know Yael the celebrant. I was unaware that my brother personally talked to Rjhon who at first refused to give his bike to Yael, he told him “Rjhon when you have something that you are not using any more, you have to give it to someone who will enjoy it and will use it according to its purpose. It’s nice to make someone happy with the things you used to love.” Rjhon then gave his bike and even volunteered himself to teach Yael how to use it… I agreed to my brother when he said “We really have nice Family”.
Yael was so happy. Noriel despite of his expenses was delighted …
They didn’t know that I was the most pleased…It was our very first Children’s Party in our house…and I enjoyed the experience…
Can’t wait to celebrate for our own child… and I know it will be coming soon.

Happy 3rd Birthday Yael!

Big Brother House Swap

The Big Brother Housemates of the Philippines competed to be the representative to Big Brother house Finland. One of those who competed to represent the Philippines was Melay, a comedienne with long curly hair, two seats apart front teeth like sponge bob and close open flat nose. As a viewer I prayed that she won't be the one. Foreigners might have tht funny idea to our land. I crossed my fingers for Cathy and so glad that she, the pretty registered nurse prevailed. She had the privilege to come out of the country to Finland for the very first time. She was the most deserving. Pretty, conservative and intelligent among the housemates and an epitome of a true Filipina.

When she entered at Big Brother House in Finland, she was shocked to the Finlands open mindedness, that male and female housemates were sharing just one big bed, a big no to Filipino Conservative Traditions. She was amused with the cold breeze and snow in Finland.Happy enough to the treatment she got. After sharing some part of herself, she left the Finland Housemates stunned by her fast visit, especially Aso who immediately fell in love with her sweetness. Pinoy big brother played a trick on Cathy and told her that she will stay another month long and so they expected Cathy to be with them during the whole part of the competition. The urgent living of Cathy brought tears to Finland's housemates
On the other hand the Finland House Mate Kaithlyn when asked about the Philippines answered big Brother that it might be somewhere near Poland. She got no idea about our country, not knowing that we are a tropical Asian country with famous beaches. When she represented Finland and entered the Big Brother house here she was surprised to the treatment she got. The female housemates helped her with her luggage, gave her the best bed and welcomed her warm heartedly with a feast. It was no show off but a natural thing for Filipino’s to be that hospitable.
Kaithlyn immediately fell in love with male house mate Hermes in her week long stay. Hermes a long haired guy, quiet and with expressive eyes showed typical Filipino passé strategy to girls. He was attentive to her and gave simple sweet things like folded paper roses and hearts. She didn’t know that it was natural for Filipino man to be like that, loving and gentle. They are expert to know how to hit the heart of a lady. If only Kaithlyn had the chance to meet more Filipino men, she will realize that Hermes respect and treatment to her was inert and natural to all Filipinos, most specially to newly met friends and visitors.
Kaithlyn left a tear at the Pinoy Big Brother House. She promised to return to the Philippines or maybe to Hermes that gave her a portion of his long hair as souvenir. Kaithlyn’s friendly attitude caught the heart not only the heart of Hermes but of Filipinos. I would like to thank Kaithlyn for the entertainment and excitement she contributed in our Television watching.

This week we will have again the original cast. With the Registered Nurse our very own Cathy in Pinoy Big Brother House. With the kind of persona she projected in Finland … Two thumbs up for Cathy. I can’t wait for her to emerge as this year’s Pinoy big Brother Big Winner…I think Cathy represented us very well and I am so proud of her.

Leaves Forever

Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."Albert Einstein

A man claimed that he was from a very poor family. So poor that everyday his family eat vegetables found in their small garden, Malunggay to be particular. He dread the taste of his almost every day food Malunggay so he swore to do his very best to improve their social status.
He then became a very successful businessman. He managed to pay for any restaurant and any food he wanted. He flew to different countries and tasted their cuisines. He avowed to took care of his wealth for he didn’t want to repeat his faith.
He really took care of his wealth but not his Health…He was rushed to the hospital and got laboratory examinations. They need to know what was causing his weak body…
The result was handed at the Doctor, the Doctor asked the dietician to prepare a special Diet for him...He got high cholesterol and other medical terminologies. When the Doctor talked to him he had his Diet Plan readied. He advised him as he was handling the brochure to follow everything written and eat more vegetable. He could not believe when he opened his Menu Diet Plan. He saw his childhood cuisine, only vegetables and eat “Malunggay in particular”.

Moringa or Malungay is a leafy vegetable known for being rich in vitamins. It can be found all over the Philippines. It can be cooked with coconut milk and fish, or boil them with ginger.

Customer Satisfaction

"One customer, well taken care of, could be more valuable than $10,000 worth of advertising." Jim Rohn

Excited for my first bite of cheese burger I saw two street children, ages seven and six about to enter the Mc Donalds restaurant. They were wearing dirty clothes, with one look you can easily tell they were beggars. I expected the guard to sway them away. However the guard joyfully opened the door for them and greeted them warmly. They were smiling as they approached the counter, there were lined customer and so they waited at the side of the counter, you could notice their being conscious with their own smell and clothes, but decent enough to space themselves with other customers…when it was their turn…they hurried to the counter…the lady in cashier smiled to them and got their orders. The children reached for their pocket and paid the ice cream in cone with their coins. They smirked as they slicked their tongue to the single Ice cream in cone. The guard opened the door and smiled as he thanked them for coming…they were laughing and very happy with the Ice Cream and maybe for the treatment they got. I, just like others was astonished as they did not beg to the other customers, the beggars came as customers and came out of the restaurant very satisfied.
That scene could be used by that restaurant as television commercial and promote their business…It will give them more funds. They welcomed and treated the children with no discrimination at all. I too was pleased for those children and I thought for a while to give them some of my foods. But it might influence them to a new wrong idea, so I just took a pleasure in staring at them outside the restaurant, giggling as they shared one ice cream cone.

POPCORN STALLS THAT CAN BE PUSHED ANYWHERE ANYTIME...COOL

MELTED CANDLE REMOVER...THEY WILL SELL IT FOR 6 PESOS TO CANDLE FACTORIES TO RECYCLE

THE APARTMENT TYPE TOMB..ECONOMIC CRUNCH AFFECTED THEM TOO..THEY SHOULD BE NEWLY PAINTED WITH WHITE .

CHICHARON FOR SALE...ITS BEEN A TRADITION TO EAT THAT SNACK IN CEMETERY . THAT TASTES GOOD WITH SPICY VINEGAR..THAT WILL MAKE YOU WHISTLE..

THIS IS A NEW PRODUCT...LOL.. INTRODUCING SWEET BANANA IN STICKS.

Take a glimpse of Philippine typical Municipal Cemetery every All Saints Day... It was like a reunion for the dead and alive...Families brought food and spent the whole day in the tombs of their love ones... the tombs were called apartment type. The tomb will start first floor lol...but as time goes, relatives to save money for a land just constract another tomb atop, and it will be called 2nd floor...up to 6th floor.
"Someday you will look up to me!" was a dialogue 0f a poor man in our community, when he died he was burdened at the fifth floor lol...every year we look up to him at his tomb, wish came true and it tickled our funny bones..lol...
In Cemetery there were children getting melted candles, there were very serious with their task that we had to watch out for our candles, they sell melted candles (and stolen whole candles) P6.00 per kilo or about .08 dollar. Popcorn stall, peanuts, chicharon seller and banana que vendors were just around. Indigenous people with cans tied made music and sang to us for money... many requested the song "Nobody"...
The ways Filipinos give importance to the deads still amazes the world...they will trade the budget for rice to candles and ready to spend a month of earning just to be able to go home to their provinces and personally visit their departed love ones.

Cemetery 2009

POPCORN STALLS THAT CAN BE PUSHED ANYWHERE ANYTIME...COOL

THE INDIGENOUS DANCER WITH MILK CAN AND GATORADE BOTTLE AS DRUMS

LITTLE GIRLS SELLING PEANUTS...
