My Governor, our boss!

Working in the Provincial Government of Batangas is giving me the opportunity to meet and see my super admired Philippine Box Office Hit movie actress, the known Star for all seasons. I am not really actress fanatic, or not so fascinated with Movie actors and actresses..but I admire Governor Vilma Santos Recto...For simple reason that she left her comfort zone and chose to be public servant...I know she could earn more than money as Movie actress and lesser stress for her. Indeed, selflessly chose and sacrificed long hours of staying in the Government office, with complicated scenarios and no director to shout action, cut...well done...pack up...

I have seen her exhausted and tired, really, really tired but never fail to smile and never run of good words for her constituents. She always has this warm personality ready to embrace the needing public.

She got heart of full service and all out giving for the Province. You can feel it in her programs and her ensuring of implementation. She is more on giving to the poor and providing them comfort in day to day living.

I admit, she has short comings too in terms of Governance, and compared to the hassler politicians of the Philippines, she can be easily intimidated with speeches and debates. But with her HEART, choosing the right people to listen to, having trustworthy Department heads around that are ready to provide intellectual advices ...the Province is in good shape...very good shape.

I am speaking as an ordinary citizen in admiring her, and as employee in saluting her... I love Governor Vilma...I am in her monitoring division of all projects...her direction is to ensure that Batangas gets all the services, no corruption and with Hearts...expect more blogs about my beloved Governor!
Stay pretty and wonderful Governor!

My yellow collection

Its my being a lady that loves shoes... a four inch sandals completed my collection of yellow items. I am so happy with this sandal..only... I suffered sprain and had to call HILOT and massaged my foot for 3 long hours... I remember when I stepped on a small stone and I struggled for balance, the passing car stopped near me afraid that I fall down in his way... My office mates laughed at my drama...No problem for me as long as I 'am pretty and smart looking, pain is nothing... I love my yellow sandals...though my feet hate it... Girl Thing!

Forever and a day experience!

Diamel and I after skin darkening activity in dismantling of illegal fish cages in Taal lake decided to go malling and watch movie.... so excited to see the perceived blockbuster movie starring one of the most prettiest actresses in the Philippines.

Very few were watching the movie including the two old ladies in our front. We cracked some jokes by imagining ourselves in the scene, if we could face our fear of heights and do the stunts as the stars did... then we enjoyed ourselves analyzing how expensive it will take for me to look alike the face of the movie star "KC Concepcion", body of her mother " Sharon Cuneta and voice of his step father KIKO Pangilinan....the body of Sharon will not be taht hard, she's as chubby as me...but the face of KC will surely the hardest part...as the movie went on and KC appeared as cancer patient badly ill ed, Diamel told me that...if that the case a little make up for me will all just be needed, though insulted I laughed at her idea...(Am I that ugly? Funny)...

At the almost end part, somebody died and tied a tarpaulin with her picture in the balloons.... we laughed as we imagined that the balloon fell down in the roof of some body's house or your crying for lost love one and then suddenly slowly you saw this balloon with tarpaulin with the picture of deceased slowly fally own in your lawn...that must be funny horryble... at the end of the movie we were laughing out loud while the two old ladies infront of us murmur in disappointments.

The movie was well done, well directed and nicely presented...but who needed another disappontment? We went there looking for romantic something and we end up attending a burial of the lead star... I still preferred happy ending...or any ending but not as tragic as that one....

If I wanted disappointment, I would never consider a movie like that, I will just tip toe to my weighing scale... better option with no cost at all...

Another happy moment with my little sweetheart Diamel...thanks for the laughs.

With the Provincial Veterinarian

Only in the Philippines...

The Veterinarian, Dr. Rommel also acted as driver of our team in rocky slope of Lobo, Batangas. What a humble public servant, maneuvering old car just to provide service to our people.

PUsh....push...end of the road...end of our life.

Free anti rabbies vaccine for the community dogs and cats.

Rivers and mountains challenge...

In my work, we had to monitor the activities of Provincial Veterinary office. So when we got their invitation in their Vaccination of anti rabbies activity, we gladly attended. Too late to know that they were scheduled to hike in a Mountain type vicinity in Lobo Batangas and do house to house activity.

Only in the Philippines, you could see a man sitting on top of cow home, preparing viand outof himababao tree. He climbed about 35 feet tree just to get the flowers of the tree and cooked it as vegetable meal.

Mountains and rivers conquered just to ensure that programs of our Governor were properly implemented.

Cows and caravaos were vaccinated also before rainy days.

In my new work as Provincial Planning and Development Office staff of Batangas, I got to explore the whole province. Being in Research, ealuation and monitoring division I needed to experience them to give good recommendations and factual reports.

New Lucky

My new dog...Lucky is the name, again...and again...after my 11 year old dog Lucky died, I refused to cry just bought a new puppy...my mom screamed in amusement when she saw the new puppy...Welcome Home Lucky!

I decided to care for this child. A four year old girl who is from a very poor family. With only two sets of clothes and hardly have a meal.

This talkative girl when learned that I was willing to give her shelter, never left my side and followed me from then on. On her first night at our house she slept peacefully and woke up before I went to office. she's been longing for love and care of a family. I feel pity to the little girl, so innocent and so vulnerable kid.

I will share to her my blessings, take care of her, support her studies and make her a better citizen of this country. I am asking nothing in return but to see her in better shape someday, I hope she will be a School Teacher. I pray!
