Painting the Colors of Christmas

In my earlier blogs, I revealed that the pressure was on for the 2009 Christmas Party. Being in charge for the concept of the Party I suggested charity works to make Christmas more meaningful for us, a visit to home of the oldies or in the orphanage could be a different and uplifting experience. Too bad for us, or too good for them… all charity schedules were taken by other companies already….hmm there will always next time for our kind heart anyways.

Painting the colors of Christmas was the theme, each Department had its dress color, red, blue, green and yellow.

Each department prepared Team Cheer Christmas song, I as Emcee called each team and they cheer and we created a beautiful Medley of Christmas songs. It was so jovial...we exerted efforts in costumes, cheers and presentations. We battled for the Pride of each Department.

Our team was red and had our blouses stitched with silver sequins by my office mate Cecil. We laughed when we discovered that she was needle addict and she finished our outfit in no time… she also turned the long skirts into tube blouses we bought hours just before the actual presentation...we were so busy that we hardly practiced our stunts.. we were puppet singing chipmunks song,as I lip sing my hands who were Ms. Amy pinched my cheeks and nose that made audiences laughed, then sexy ladies dancing Santa baby by Kyle Minouge, and as finale we wish you merry Christmas song with instant three kings, mama Mary, Joseph and Jesus reenactment... we never practiced it, it turned that our baby Jesus were full of tattoos and laughing the whole time. We presented happily and we enjoyed it...

Other teams were great...they had unique presentations too and we thought we had no chance to win...the green got Michael Jackson and the yellow a T bird wearing skirts that really got high in audience impact criteria. The blue had nice music and so much effort...they vowed to steal the first place.

Suprisingly the Red Team our team became the Champion in group presentations...we got perfect score in originality, Christmas spirit and costumes...lol... Everybody went home with a smile.

Merry Christmas every one and Happy New Year...
